When attempting to communicate there is no place  for anger.  Anger in a conflict leads to a loss of control, to words that are often regretted and to an escalation of the problem!

If an issue is important to both parties,  both people will have their minds set.  At some point in the discussion it will become obvious that both of you will need to “agree to disagree”, to acknowledge that you have different opinions, that you respect each other and that “life goes on”.

Deal with your conflict as soon as possible.  The longer it festers the harder it will be to solve.  When you argue, you tend to focus on a small part of the problem and completely ignore the real problem!  Be strong enough to admit your part in the problem and mature enough to search for a compromise…….”a win-win” solution.

Remember:  There are those who travel and those who are going somewhere.  There are those who talk and those who say something!
